Wow, this is beautiful! Great work. The fabric is gorgeous 🙂

I always find it funny how in the U.S., things like chequebook covers are so popular on craft sites, etc. In Canada the average person almost never writes cheques, other than for something like rent, and therefore never carries around a chequebook OR a chequebook cover. But I think in the U.S. you can still pay by cheque at department stores, Wal-Mart, etc?

Thank you! The fabric is from IKEA.

You can still pay by che(ck)(que)(!) at supermarkets and big stores here, yes, but I think most people use debit cards in stores and pay bills online. Having a checkbook is still a necessary thing, though, even for that check or two that gets written every month…even if the checkbook and its fancy cover just live in a drawer at home instead of coming along for trips out.

(Maybe I should have made a debit card cozy? I guess that’s called a wallet…)

Wow, I prefer debit card cozy. It you sold them; because of the name change, you probably could charge more. 🙂

Beautiful. How can I buy one?

Colleen, I made this almost two years ago — it’s not for sale, it’s just something I made for myself.

Thanks for the response. I’m bummed but am now motivated to make my own …

Love it! I was just looking at a similar (or the same) project in Lotta’s book. Who is the fabric by?
