Soïa & Kyo.
I tried on coats from Soïa & Kyo over the weekend. So perfect! The fit is amazing on all of them, there’s no way I can choose one. I want them all! These are my favorites:
This last one is the only WARM, insulated coat I have ever tried on that didn’t make me look like I’m wearing a sleeping bag. Standing/shivering on the train platform by the river in the middle of winter always makes me long for a sensible, long coat like that (rather than the cute, cheap wool coats I inevitably wind up buying instead).

those are fabulous - i love the first two. and i love that even the sensible option is still really stylish. i always choose the sassy option and then pay for it by freezing to death :->
Those are all very nice, the red one I find particularly stunning, and can imagine you running through the streets of Manhattan wearing it!
Running through the streets of Manhattan . . . with a butcher knife in my hand?
Well, whatever you decide to accessorize your outfits with is your choice! I was thinking a nice handbag myself, but a knife will do!
i’ve got a light spring/fall coat of theirs i love and am considering a winter purchase although it would be much more fivolous. their sort of take on a houndstooth pattern for a waist length, large sleeved, large necked double breasted coat.
beautiful!
love love these! thanks for showing them.
Can you tell me if their coats run small or large - I’m going to purchase one for my daughter who is very petite - size 0 - and I want to be sure I get her the right size, which I guess would be an XS. I’m afraid she’s going for style over warmth too, she’s in the mountains in Boone, NC. I love the first two!
Thanks!
Lori, the sizes run average. I normally wear a size 4, and the small fit me snugly (but well).
Their insulated coats are VERY warm!
p.s. They have a size chart on their site!
Hi! Ive been looking on their site and the coats look gorgeous. Im planning on buying the down coat, but could you please tell me if feathers ended up poking through the lining and attaching to your sweater or clothes. I’ve had that happen to me in the past in other jackets, and am worried that this will do the same. I definitely dont want that happening to me again.
Hi Jackie, I didn’t buy a coat (I just tried them on, they were too expensive to buy), so I’m afraid I can’t tell you about the feather stability. Sorry!
