Have you heard of a good process for painting your clawfoot? I've contemplated painting ours an un-nervy shade of black, but I'm not sure how to go about it. It currently has a layer of white paint that's kind of bubbly. I'm thinking it was done a while back to hide rust. The problem with doing any work on our bathroom is that we only have one. And I must bathe every day.

Sounds exciting. I am on the look out for hexagon tiles for my kitchen backsplash-- for some reason it's difficult to find on-line. Care to share your source?

Wow, this is coming along great! Congratulations on your fine work on the window, you should be very proud. Seeing you do this gives me encouragement to try to repair more things on my own.

Wow! I wish I had a place that I could actually work at it and change it from something not so great into something beautiful.

I love mostly white bathrooms (all white bathrooms still creep me out) but I do like the basis to be white with a little bit of a dull blue and pink. (My bathroom right now has a light green tub, dark green floor tiles, a green toilet seat cover which I want to change, and a green wallpaper-thing on the front of the sink. It also still has the green shower curtain that was there.)
