We have a rather solitary papillon and tried to find her a playmate before learning that our landlord doesn't allow 2nd dogs. If we'd been able to keep looking, though, we would have loved someone like your new pup. Congrats! (Am almost wishing that you hadn't posted the really lovely dog beds, though...) We got him at 12 weeks old and he was my baby. When we got our smoothcoat chihuahua, Maya, he HATED her and he hated us for getting her. It's only now, 3 years later, that he's finally accepting her, grooming her and trying to play with her. I don't regret getting her though. He likes the company even if he won't admit it. We never planned Bruno's name in advance (it actually came to me in a semi-sleep state the first night he was with us), but it suits him perfectly.
