New baby.

We brought home our new little guy today, and he’s absolutely amazing. He doesn’t have a name yet (EDIT: no suggestions, please!), but that will come soon enough. Bruno is skeptical, but handling it alright. We are very much a family of four, me and my boys. A few more photos here.

Hello little guy! Can’t wait to hear what his name will be and all the cuteness that will ensue.

How about calling him “Eleven” – I love noun names.

    That´s one beautiful puppy!
Do you plan to have “real” babies too? (Sorry for my openness, I know it´s none of my business. Maybe you wrote about that earlier or maybe you just don´t want to talk about this.)

Oh my he is a cutie. I love when they are that small and just snuggle right into you. Congrats on the new family member. Family of four is a nice thing. 4 legged babies are the best.

    Heather-
Might not be the right way, but I scrubbed mine with a sturdy bristled brush and some lysol (although plain water with a little soap would probably work as well…). Took some elbow grease but it got all the grime out of all those beautiful fiber-glassy crevices. Somebody please correct this if I’m wrong… I don’t want to ruin anyone’s chairs!

Heather: I recommend trying a mix solution of Murphy’s Oil Soap and warm water first. If there’s still grime embedded in the fibers, try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (they really are magic!). If that STILL doesn’t do the trick, Barkeepers Friend is amazing (go for the powder rather than the liquid). Whatever you do, try to stay away from anything abrasive or solvent that could etch the fiberglass further (no scouring pads, etc.). If the legs are looking grimy, try using some fine steel wool and Windex to clean them up. If you’re missing any of the plastic foot glides, you can buy replacements on eBay. You’ll just need to pound the old glide mounts into the legs with a hammer (trust me, you’ll never be able to pull them out!) before you push the new ones in. Good luck! :)
