I Want This

Lamp lust.

Um, I thought I had chosen just the right light fixture for the bathroom, but it’s possible that I was wrong. This glass globe pendant from West Elm is just so beautiful (and affordable)! I can really see the gray glass looking perfect in the bathroom. I’ll take a look at it in person on Friday and see if it’s as amazing as the photo makes it appear to be.

Speaking of glass light fixtures, I can’t stop thinking about Sofie Refer’s Bulb Wall Sconce and Bulb Pendant Lamp. Maybe in the downstairs bathroom (when the time comes)? The sconce is on the pricey side, but oh…so pretty.

I just want to say that I am so pleased I found my way back to your website after clearly remembering an entry you’ve written in the past about your dilemma towards purchasing a new sofa. I saved a picture of your living room when you finally bought your sofa, in my inspiration book. 🙂

Thank you and I wish you luck with the renovations! The bathroom looks fantastic!

I like the idea of that glass globe pendant shining down on your beautiful marble tiles.

I like the pendant you already have better.

You found the web site that has the table lamp I covet! You certainly have a way of finding nice things.

Your bathroom is looking fantastic, too. Good work!

i like the west elm option, because it’s pretty … but i don’t think they’re as practical as what you already went with. because of the clear glass, i could see any bulb you put in there having too much glare, something that could easily bother in a peaceful place like that bathroom. the frosted option you have now with provide a very clean, softened glow.

As not to disappoint, but my eye doesn’t like the clumsy way the wall sconce has two what appear to be ill placed plain screws that anchor it to the wall. Not well detailed IMO for 400 smackers, let alone a design award… I’d keep looking for that downstairs bath.

I just found our site via Cup Of Jo and even though I’ve only seen this one entry I will have to come back for more. Love those sconces!
