anna, i love morrissey as well, unfortunately i have been angry with him since the early 90′s as every morrissey concert i have gone to has ended abruptly with him leaving way before the middle of the show. i forgive him anyway and continue to listen to the smiths on my original promo only vinyls. love your blog as always. happy work weekend.

Did you realize that the photo of Morrissey in the striped suit jacket and yellow tie is like the human version of your rug and chair photo/post?

This is my first time commenting. Love your blog (and your bangs as a fellow bangs girl).

I can’t believe Morrissey and Robert Smith are 50. How I loved them in high school (and still do). I’ll be sanding, staining, and polyurethaning woodwork in kitchen this week among other tasks. So, you’re not alone.

Ah lovely. That 1991 tour was the 1st time I saw him play. The Smiths clip was excellent but what on earth was up with those puppets?
