Ha! That apartment from the Shoot Factory is my friend Gavin’s place. How lovely is it? It’s as charming in person as it is in the picture. It’s like being in a little boat (maybe it’s the wooden floors, walls and ceiling?). If you’re ever in London I can get you in!

Um, Mike? Did you actually read my post? Because I straight up mentioned the polar bear rug right under the photos.

Also, WTF is this supposed to mean:

Seriously? Who are you to come here and suggest that I’m rejecting comments for ANY reason, much less something like THAT? Way to assume something that’s completely and totally false.

And you do realize that’s not my house, right?

Also, out of curiosity, did the leather furniture shown in three of the other photos also make you almost throw up?

I agree with all of the posters above, these shots and rooms are amazing. However that polar bear rug (I am assuming it is real), made me sick in my stomach. Literally, i almost threw up. And it amazes me that only one person out of 43 comments even loosely mentioned it (unless the other comments got “Rejected”). Sorry for the crush, but I think the days of dead animals in our homes is over.

Okay, funny note – totally thought that second shot (of the living room) was your house. :) It’s so you, it’s ridiculous! Anyway, great line-up of orange details in beautiful rooms (except for the polar bear rug – but the room?? OMG, the room is fabulous). Great choices – and orange pops are so much fun… Thanks for sharing these, lady!

Completely unrelated to this post, but….

Do you know of anything (primer, paint, solution) that will remove the damp stored-in-the-basement-forever type smell?

I found an antique dresser in the trash (birdseye maple, dovetail construction, turned knobs, skeleton key locks on every drawer), but it has THAT smell. I’ve been airing it out for a week, but I still smell it, and wouldn’t want my clothes in there yet.

I’m thinking of painting it all, except for the top, b’c of the odor. Any words of wisdom?
