Art + Design + I Want This

Ljungbergs Pythagoras, 1952

Designed by Sven Markelius for Ljungbergs, 1952

Hand printed with a double repeat and requires 18 screens. 15 colors create this dramatic design. The orange colorway hangs in the U.N. (71″x57″)

Buy it here, if you have money to burn. (And if you have enough cash left over, buy one for me, too! I’ll take orange, thx.)

It’s like the secret love child of Alexander Girard’s “Checker Split” fabric and that door in SoHo I’m crazy about:

Ironically, I was looking at Marimekko fabric online today, and came upon this. It is stunning! If I had the cash, I’d go for it. Really exceptional.
