I totally get your Orla obsession, and that bag is lovely. I was so much obsessing over one of her maxi slings. Finally, I got the reflected trees bag in green/olive, and it is really well made. However, the magnet closure demagnetised all my cards, which was a real frustration. Did anyone else experience this, and is there an easy fix so I that I can carry my Orla bag with wallet inside again?

Oooohhh the lure of Orla. My friend got a bag recently and we organised a girls evening round at hers just to admire it.

I would go against the grain and say if you can’t afford it, don’t get it. Not something that I manage to follow through personally most of the time, but it feels like sensible advice!

I have an Orla doormat that my two new kittens have destroyed in a matter of weeks and I’m trying to be brave and not get devastated over it……….

gilt.com is having orla items on tuesday in the “gilt fuse” section. the items are posted at noon and go fast.

I don’t have $300 to spend on a bag right now either…but if I did, I’d rather spend $300 on one (discounted) quality item, than $100 on 3 mediocre bags…That one looks extremely versatile, and I’m sure the leather will age beautifully. Perhaps santa reads your blog???

I would say to save up for that bad boy. :) It really would last forever! Maybe if you divided the cost by how many years of use you will get, it would’t seem so pricey. Or maybe ask for gift cards for Christmas. Or… Can you tell I totally get your bag obsession??? LOL

Get it, Anna! I own several Orla bags and they are fantastically well made. Tell you what, save your money and grab a plane to London next Christmas and pick it up at a sample sale for $100. That’s how I feed my Orla addiction. I’ll even give you a room to stay! Orla is fantastic. Sigh. Oh…just get it. :)
