We have decided to move into our new house in November pre-renovation but with refurb. Ripping up carpets, 'doing' the boards somehow, and painting and papering the walls. This will mean lots of craziness and DIY fun before we extend and build up in a couple of years. The brief I have given my architect is 'Scandinavian sauna meets modern Japanese simplicity.
