Striped.

This is Mommy and Evan, both looking very cute in stripes over the weekend. I wonder if they called each other in the morning and planned their outfits. They claim coincidence, but I’m not so sure!

Isn’t that color-blocked, knitted necklace my mother is wearing great? I gave it to her for her birthday. It’s the work of Nguyen Le, a crafter based in Brooklyn who sells handmade accessories under the name KnitKnit. I found it at Clay Wood & Cotton in Beacon (which is a great little store to check out if you happen to be up that way), but you can get one through the KnitKnit Etsy shop.

That’s all. Amid all of the hurricane news and anxiety over tomorrow’s presidential election, I felt the need to post something that just makes me smile. My mother and my husband make me smile, especially when they’re in matching stripes.

LOL I enjoyed stumbling upon this post. These two totally planned their striped looks. I love that knitted necklace your mom is wearing, great accessory! I cannot even think about the election tomorrow! I’m just gonna show up at the poll early in the morning, vote for the right candidate (and when I say right, I actually mean left) and hope for the best!

Well, Evan looks cuter! I love the necklace even more with the solid black sweater I’m wearing today. Thank you Anna & Evan!

Ah, come on. Hipster young man+ woman of Swedish origin. For any given day, I’d say there’s a 97% chance they are wearing stripes:-).
Ever since my partner saw pictures of me as a child, dressed from head to toe in Polarn & Pyret stripy clothes, he likes to say that I”ve had the same style since I was three. He’s right.

Your momma looks so sweet! Makes me miss my momma!

Love her necklace, too – great taste! Thanks for making me smile. I’ve had so much anxiety building up; three projects due in school today and major stressing about the election. Oi!

They look sweet. Keeping my fingers crossed for the election (can’t vote -not allowed- sorry)!
Saw your street -in Brooklyn- on TV over here -in Holland- yesterday!
(I read somewhere that someone said that they were keeping everything crossed, but that might make it difficult to pee in my mind. Wouldn’t want to wet myself.)
I hope you all have a truly wonderful day!
