I love every single piece artist Karin Cyrén has created for a new limited-edition series of posters at Fine Little Day! Such a great use of color, and her bug illustrations make me smile. I’m a sucker for pink and exhibition posters, so this one may be finding its way to my office walls soon.

You can read more about Cyrén on the Fine Little Day blog, and if you’re near Lindome, you can see the originals in person at the Fine Little Day shop at Spinneriet through the end of May.

Anna, these are so great! I see why you love her work…so playful yet evocative. I think we’re going to spring for the “Sun”–it’ll really help those loooooong winter days here in VT. Thank you for always promoting the work of your colleagues…you’re so generous.

I love the posters, BUT I have two kids who have been going to a Waldorfschool for about 16 years (all together) they paint in school once a week, so you can imagine that we have stacks and stacks of similar paintings (they use the same kind of paint). It is funny though, our eldest has been painting now for about 9 years and she can really explain about technique and how to subdue colours or how to create certain effects, it’s very interesting.
