I Want This

New things at H&M Home.

H&M Home - doorsixteen.com

H&M’s home collection debuted in the US almost four years ago, which was the last time I did a product roundup! I’ve bought a number of things (cushions, sheets, towels, candlesticks, storage bins…) from H&M since then, and they’ve all been quite good quality for the price. Their downfall seems to be any kind of fake metal (e.g. “copper” candlesticks that are just cheap metal sprayed a copper color), but now that I know to avoid those things, I’ve been really happy with my purchases.

This morning I hopped on the site to take a closer look at their shower curtains (thanks to those of you who suggested checking there!), and I saw SO many nice things that I wish I had a place for in my house!

All of these products are part of the new Close to Nature line. I meant to just stop this post with the new stuff, but I can’t resist including a few picks from the rest of the collection…

Love the round-up, Anna! And you can blog or not blog whenever you like. You got people who will be here either way. xx

      Thanks, Beefy 🙂 <3

I ordered one of their road play rugs for my son’s room. So nice to find something with a clean, somewhat sophisticated design instead of the multi-colored chaos that is most kid products. And a great quality at a great price!

I discovered H&M home a few months ago and they’re now my secret weapon. I love the jute laundry basket you listed in particular, I bought one and then three more for attractive over-closet storage because I was so impressed with the price and quality. Nice to see H&M getting some attention, most people I tell don’t even know they have a home section!

I think that’s because you can’t buy it in stores in the US! Hopefully that’ll change someday—I’d love to be able to see this stuff in person before buying it.

Do you like the sheets? Considering a duvet cover from there and wondering about the quality? Thanks!

    • Anna @ D16 April 20, 2017 at 2:56 pm

Rachel, yes, I’m very happy with the quality! I have the duvet cover and pillowcases in white linen, and it’s super soft. You’d never know it’s not premium linen, seriously. My only gripe is that they don’t sell flat sheets!

Ok awesome! Thanks for letting me know. Definitely buying it and you get full credit 🙂

Sooo pretty. Thanks for the round-up and note on quality. I haven’t ordered from them before because I was unsure about the quality, but now I will!

I’m SO glad you are blogging again. I was saying “yup, yup, yup” while looking through all that you have chosen. But to be honest since it’s H&M I’d have to see it before I would buy it. But linen bedding, you can’t go wrong with that, it’s just the most wonderful bedding there is (and it only gets better and softer with washing).

Tea towel with cats on it? I’m there!!

I love H&M home. I wish they carried it in a store closer to me; the nearest store is in the Georgetown area of DC and I’m not about to traipse through the streets with bags and bags of home goods.

    • Anna @ D16 April 24, 2017 at 12:41 pm

Oh wow, I didn’t realize any of the US stores carry the home goods! None of the stores I’ve been to in NYC do.

The flagship in Herald Square does!

    • Anna @ D16 April 30, 2017 at 10:01 pm

      I can’t believe I didn’t know that!! Geez—I guess I’ll be stopping in the next time I’m home. 🙂

Uh whoa, I think everything in the second picture is something I NEED.

The black-and-white-tribal-thing seems popular right now. Target is full of stuff similar to this too.
