I wrote to you a couple of weeks back asking you about your cute Orla Kiely bag…Anyway, I am writing again because I live in East LA/Boyle Heights and I walk around the Evergreen Cemetery every morning,. It is literally 1 block away! It was so exciting to see you post my hood on your blog:) Anytime you are over here on this side please let me know and I will show you authentic Mexican food and Boyle Heights/East LA:)
BTW, almost everyone I went to school with absolutely LOVED and still LOVES Morrissey!

Thanks for the tip, Anna. I found tec’s sanded caulk on line but can you please tell me the color you used? the link from your site to installersstore.com brings us a page with charcoal gray and raven. I assume Raven is the one the get but please let me know if that’s not the case. Thanks!

Thanks for responding, Anna. Most interested in cafes/restaurants and art. (Shopping is less important, although I thought I’d check out Iron Fish, assuming it’s still there.) Thinking of going further north, to Walkway Over the Hudson, time permitting. But really, just open to checking out any places in the area that you think are special.

Brad: I seldom spend any time in Beacon since my favorite antique store closed last year, but if you’re interested in any other towns in the area, I’d be happy to make suggestions. What are you looking for? Restaurants? Art? Antiques? Other?
