Some go to the Caribbean for vacation, others caulk windows.

Wheeeee! I’m off work until June 1st! By “off work”, of course, I mean that I won’t be working in an office and can instead devote 23.5 hours every day (c’mon, a girl’s got to sleep sometime) to slaving over various house projects.

Check it: It’s 10:15 AM on the first day of my vacation, and I’ve already caulked a window and done a load of laundry. Now off to IKEA to pick up some storage boxes for closet organization Chez Larsson-style.

Heh. A girl after my own heart. For the long weekend, we are grilling out with family… but we are recruiting the family to help us paint the trim. So I guess some of us climb ladders as well. ;)

Good luck! (I wish there was an Ikea near us. I’d like to check it out.)

That sounds like my kind of vacation…we are always doing projects….it’s very satisfying but can become a bit maddening…I hope you also get to relax and get some outdoor time :)

Man, I wish I had your drive. There are so many projects I’d like to get done… But I just can’t seem to get motivated! Maybe after I see how much you get done in the coming week, I’ll be guilted into action.

Yeah I’m on my vacation too, I already went to ikea and I plan on going back next week. Organizing is more fun than the Caribbean!

i could decorate an entire room in only white kassett boxes from ikea. they are perfectly adorable and affordable (sometimes. like that one time i found the square drawer units for 99 cents a piece!)

    enjoy the time off work!

Love it! I am re-texturing and painting the walls in my bathroom and it is sucking up the rest of my holiday weekend so I know how you feel. Satisfied, eh?

Love your determination to “organize” your vacations and “redo” house.
I have problems when outside is sunny. And of course when I have no time.
Show lots of photos. They are always inspiring.

Will visit more often if you don“t mind. And come an visit me if you want.

    Love,
    Ibb

I love that look…thats how every home owner should feel..it makes me feel so bad for those that are and have lost their homes..But to look up at the walls, and the ceiling and just small lets you know its all worth it. Thats what I do..I look up and just say thank you!
