Door Sixteen.

We bought these door numbers back in November, but I didn’t get around to mounting them until this weekend. What a difference it makes! No more telling people to look for the “first brick house in the row on the left side with the green trim and the black door and the garden in front and no number on it”.

the numbers look great! i was looking at the adorable pictures of fritz and like magic there was a new post :). more inspiration to move one of these days. i hope newburgh gives you a key to the city of something – you’re like the ambassador (-ess?) of the place. speaking of which, how would you recommend going about finding real estate there? i look online a lot, but since i know nothing about neighborhoods, etc., not sure where to start. but i know how to remain inspired – to keep coming here! thanks for that :).

I love your new house numbers! They are very graphic and clean. It is the little things like your house numbers that show how much you love your home because you have thought about every last detail. They also give the people who go by a glimpse of the personalities who live in your home.

They look so cool against the red bricks. I’d love to be able to get such stylish house numbers.

    great numbers!
so funny…we still don’t have numbers on our home after living here for almost a year and a half. i recently painted our mailbox to cover up some awful hand painted sunflowers & in the process painted over the numbers, too.

I was in NY this weekend for the first time in my LIFE (love it!)… and as I looked across the Hudson River I thought — I wonder where Anna lives and where her fabulous area of Newburgh is where it would be so great to buy & revitalize.

WPZ, that’s really sweet to say. :) I do love Newburgh, and I think it’s a great place to be right now. Hopefully, others will eventually see the same thing I do — there are a lot of derelict (but still beautiful) houses here that really need love and care and renovation.

I love these numbers! If I buy a home I think I might get them, I wish they had them in yellow…
