No peeking!
Tomorrow morning, the new bathroom will have its inaugural shower, and I will have my first shower since starting demo in mid-October. I thought this would have happened weeks ago, but little things kept getting in the way—a part for the shower drain was broken and had to be ordered from the manufacturer, the tub drain had a leak, I had to make time to seal the grout in the shower (which took 4 hours with a tiny paintbrush!), etc. Endless!
With the exception of the radio I ordered today, the bathroom is now DONE. This is all you get to see for now, though! Sorry, but those are the rules. I have something special planned for the big reveal, though—something I’ve never done before. I promise it will be worth the wait!

Oh, I hate waiting! But when I saw you ordered a radio for your bathroom, I knew before I clicked the link which one it would be! I have the same radio in my bathroom (along with subway tile and penny rounds on the floor and a wall mounted sink and a vipp wastecan…) And I have to say, the radio is possibly my favorite thing — I’m addicted to listening to NPR in the mornings while I shower.

you are hilarious. cant wait to see the bathroom. but man, now i’m totally hating my bathrooms. everytime i go in, i think of your bathroom and start daydreaming completely ripping out the ugly tiles that’s already in right now.
