Black + white.

I know, I’m so predictable! I’m also super busy this week, but I have a big pile of black-and-white interiors that I’ve been waiting to post, and now’s as good a time as any.

Really, I could just sit here and post B+W interiors all day, every day.

Lovely collection! I don’t naturally tend to black & white interiors, but almost each of these images makes me reconsider!

I’m married to the idea of having a midcentury modern-themed house, but some days I daydream about running away and getting a modern, cozy, black and white loft. I have the same daydreams about farmhouses, too.

I’m loving your office. Is that chalkboard paint on your wall? Or is it just a fabulous luxurious black?

Do you know where that lamp in the last photo comes from? I can’t remember where I’ve seen it. I love the simple triangle shape…

These are all so cool! I love the logs in the fireplace and the black Bertoia chair. I’d love to at some point make a B&W room in our place, although with all our stuff it may end up being just a bathroom! Thanks for the inspiration-yet again- Anna!

Definitely digging the black and white thing! Trying to find a way to incorporate it into my bedroom redesign. I work with Readymade magazine and have be using some of their ideas to guide my interior design
. Your contribution is proving worthwhile.

The black painting above the fireplace is interesting. It adds a mysterious quality to the room.
