Oh yeah: David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee, take two.

“David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee” commercial // Directed by David Lynch, 2012

Last year, I posted about the first commercial for David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee, and boy, was it a doozy. I’m not one to get overly excited about advertisements, but that ad made me not only want to buy David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee for drinking purposes, but also for bathing, tooth-brushing, and as an eyedrop substitute. It was that good.

So here’s the new one. Oh yeah.

p.s. Have you ever watched David Lynch cook quinoa for 20 minutes?

This is GOLD. I was saying to my friend yesterday that this video encapsulates all that goes through my head when I’m making/drinking a latte. This man understands. OH YEAH….

So did you try the coffee? Any good? IT BETTER BE O_O

P.S. Have you seen the new sally h. patterns? I put them on and immediately thought of your love for triangles. http://tinyurl.com/7g6rber

I wanted to put a Twin Peaks clip in this post, but all of the stuff on YouTube is muted due to copyright infringement!

      Lame!!!

I have always wanted to be the Log Lady for Halloween and the hubs to go as Special Agent Dale Cooper. That or Lula and Sailor.

Am I correct in assuming that this coffee will make me hallucinate? I must indulge in a bag and perhaps a Twin Peaks marathon.

I’m on a strict diet and have had no coffee for three weeks and counting. Now I feel dirty, and I want coffee.

    • Anna @ D16 February 1, 2012 at 10:26 pm

Oh no, Eleni, don’t give in! Usually I’m a terrible enabler when it comes to coffee, but three weeks!! Wow. Take a cold shower and have some herbal tea…

OMG…I so want that coffee, NOW!!! Doubt there is any coffee maker that can handle it. I am a caffeine junkie right now and it’s 10 pm here.

Coffee never looked so SEXY! I felt like I was committing adultery just looking at this video! 😉

Perfect v-day gift for my husband. Did you buy it in NYC? I can’t tell from their website what stores carry it!

    • Anna @ D16 February 2, 2012 at 10:35 am

Alice, if you’re in NYC you can buy it at the IFC theater on 6th Ave in the West Village!

  • Reply Cheryl February 2, 2012 at 10:37 am

I’d go to the Black Lodge for that coffee if I had to.

David Lynch is so cool. I saw him in a bar once but was much to nervous to say anything to him. Most starstruck ever. Yeah this definitely makes me want to drink his coffee.

Yes! Yes! Thank you! David Lynch is incredible – thank you for sharing the new commercial (and the quinoa one – ha!).

hilarious. here’s hoping for more David Lynch products — shoes, energy drinks, fragrances, vodka

    • Anna @ D16 February 3, 2012 at 10:56 pm

I can’t even imagine what an ad for David Lynch fragrance would be like, just that it would be amazing.

  • Reply mommy February 4, 2012 at 5:31 pm

Hi Anna, I just watched the entire quinoa cooking video and now my nervous blinking tick has returned.

  • Reply hungryandfrozen February 7, 2012 at 8:30 pm

He has his own coffee? *dies* I know what I’m stocking up on when I go to America.

  • Reply laurie February 9, 2012 at 10:36 am

It is not that bad to accept a different opinion expressed politely. I didn’t know this place was only to agree devotely.

    • Anna @ D16 February 9, 2012 at 11:31 am

If you want to have a real conversation about the commercial and back it up with actual references to the advertisement(s) you believe Lynch copied, then by all means, go ahead.

The other stuff (the rudeness, the fake email address, the snide attitude), though? You can take that somewhere else. I have no interest in creating an environment where hit & run accusations of plagiarism are acceptable.

    • Anna @ D16 February 27, 2012 at 3:03 pm

Oh wow, I’d never seen those before! Amazing…and kind of terrifying!! Thanks for sharing!!
